Blanco Rojo

Blanco Rojo is an interior that makes its argument in two colors and holds nothing back. Within a compact urban apartment, the designers orchestrate a dialogue between bone-white surfaces and saturated crimson accents — a composition as taut as a De Stijl painting brought into three dimensions. White leather seating, white lacquered millwork, and pale stone floors establish a luminous calm, while deep red walls, upholstered panels, and carefully placed objects punctuate the space with jolts of warmth and intensity. Dark charcoal planes — a slate feature wall, blackened steel shelving — provide the bass notes, grounding the palette and preventing it from tipping into sweetness. The furnishings are contemporary but not cold, each piece selected for its silhouette as much as its comfort. The result is an interior that feels simultaneously bold and controlled, a place where color does the work that ornament does elsewhere.
